I wanted to be...

When I was younger, I dreamed that I would study many things, such as veterinary medicine, medicine, pedagogy, gastronomy and astronomy. But it was nothing serious, they were just childhood dreams. And when I realized it, she was already leaving the eighth grade and starting the Lyceum, from that moment she asked her weight, what was she going to study? After four years of thinking about it, my ten options were reduced to two: journalism and psychology (I wanted to add linguistics, but did not receive support for my idea). I decided on journalism as the first option because it was the closest to what I was looking for in my future, and I also felt that my little knowledge of the world would expand with my career and I would hone my skills to be a great professional.

Since I entered the University of Chile I have understood many things about the world and prejudices towards the career and journalists. I met many great minds who became my teachers and colleagues with as much knowledge as an unfinished book. In my freshman year, I was very excited and now, with my second year starting, I find myself with great expectations for the future (plus, classes started with more activity!) My impression of college and career has grown a lot!

I'm not sure what kind of work I want to do in the future, but for now I will continue to learn from my teachers and peers. And when the time is right, I will know what to do with my skills and my life.

  3. I hope you have it clear in the next years, it's a mystery what comes next but if we had the brave to face it, I know that we'll be okay.

  6. When I was a child I also changed my mind a lot about what I wanted to study and then in my adolescence I chose psychology and journalism. Finally we both decided for journalism, I love what I study, by the way what is your favorite subject?
